![]() Paul DonnellyĬatch up on every previous Games Inbox here ![]() A fact I’ve been telling people since Digitizer days. That and the best video game journalism around. People like you are why this site is the best thing on the Internet. Thanks for the advice about freezing my hard drive, I’ll definitely give that a go… Thanks also for the offer of a cable but I already know someone with one. I’ve played it! It’s good! Ste C You guysRE: X Don’t Shoot X. ![]() Ian LambGameCentral fave Radiant Silvergun is 600 Microsoft Points this week. SupplyNCommand (gamertag)Surprised no one has mentioned Xbox Live Arcade deal of the week on here, with the price of new release games coming up lately I’ve been enjoying some classic games like Limbo, Super Meat Boy and Radiant Silvergun for not very much at all, me personally I would only buy one game on day of release and that’s Call Of Duty and from a supermarket.I always wait a few months and then get them off eBay (Crysis 2 downloadable content for £3) unfortunately I’m not in a position to spend 40 odd quid on a single game. It really is different to anything out there and is a nice change of pace from the big hitters this Christmas. I would encourage everyone to give this gem a try. GirafferificThe beautiful Child Of Eden is available on for £9.99 for today only. However I don’t feel this should stop others. Perhaps a bargain alert? I’m not getting it yet due to a massive backlog and not having played the first two. Matt ‘More games than I can play’ ChapmanJust a quick note to tell everyone that Asda is selling Uncharted 3 for £24 brand new. I hold GameCentral guilty and will provide my bank details for a bank transfer to reimburse my diminishing bank account. GC:What about April and June? No more bargainsPlease can everyone stop with the bargain alerts as I am amassing on average three games a week! Already this week I have bought Skyrim and Rage with no hope of playing them till after Christmas. May 2012 have as many good games as this year. Coming up with witty titles is their job.PPS: Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all. The talent behind Fallout: New Vegas, Dungeon Siege III and Knights Of The Old Republic II working with two of America’s best satirists is surely a collaboration to watch? Monkey TimelordPS: I always put ‘Inbox’ as the subject of my e-mails to GC. As outsiders to the games industry, they come in with a fresh perspective and will ask questions and have ideas on how to do things that wouldn’t occur to a game designer.Of course, people from other industries coming in can be too ambitious and end up working on vapourware that is eventually cancelled (damn you, Señor Spielbergo!).Your comment about being more excited if a top game designer was involved is especially confusing when applied to Obsidian, which has staff with experience going back to the original Fallouts. I’m probably alone in this, but I’m glad that Matt Stone and Trey Parker and Guillermo Del Toro are big gaming fans and are getting involved in making games.
